I moved to Charlotte North Carolina in December 2019 honestly I feel like I moved at the perfect time. I list the 3 reasons I moved to Charlotte in this video. After I graduated college in 2011 I moved back home to Boston, where I moved back in with my mom. While living at home I paid a small amount of rent which is nothing compared to the rent prices in Boston.
“The average rent for an apartment in Boston is $3,432, a 3% increase compared to the previous year. Average Rent in Boston, MA.” According to Rentcafe.com
I was able to save money, invest money, travel, start a business as well as pay off my $38,000 of student loan debt.
I am thankful that I had a home that I could go back to. To anyone who is living in a place that they initially didn’t picture would be their ideal living situation I want to offer you some encouragement. This is just a temporary situation. While you are here make the most of it. Who cares what other people are doing, what other people have to say, you must do what is best for you and your pockets.
