Lol This is a tune that many people are singing because once you’ve had a few drinks it’s easy to convince yourself that you can keep swiping your card. Even if you’re already over your fun money. To help with this maybe try only using cash when you go out and once that cash is gone dassit beloved. You must keep your goals in mind because remember when you go over your allocated money for fun you are cutting into another one of your goals.Keep it real with your friends
via GIPHY If you really can’t afford the Uber let your friends know, or don’t even bother bringing up taking an Uber when you know your budget is telling that you need to take public transportation. There is no shame in keeping it real with your friends because if they’re your real friend they will understand that you have other goals that you’re trying to reach. If you haven’t already sat down and created your monthly budget be sure to do so. It’s not a one and done kind of thing, you have to work at it weekly or at least look at it to make sure you’re on track. Give your self some room to have fun money each month or you will go crazy once that allotted fun money is gone you have to wait until the next month to re-up. Also if you find ways to make more money you could use that extra money to have more fun, but you could also use to to save more, invest more, and pay off your debt faster.
